ABOUT US

Whoodles of Joy is based on our desire to share the joy that these amazing dogs bring to our lives.  My husband, son and I raise our dogs in our home in southern California.  We don't think of ourselves as dog breeders but as a family raising our four-legged "kids" to bring more joy into our lives and the lives of others.  We have been blessed with the joy of puppies since 2006. We take pride that our puppies are well taken care of and given constant love and attention.  Our aim is to give life to the best Whoodles we can, educate their new owners and ensure these precious puppies get the love, care and attention they deserve. Contact us to find out more about our methods and philosophy.

OUR MISSION

Bringing more joy to the world

Our mission is to bring more joy into this world. We truly believe that dogs are more than man's best friend.  They show us unconditional love and unlimited joy in just seeing us walk through the door.   Having spent years working for veterinarians, I've come to know the joy pets bring into our lives.  I was blessed with many memories shared with my dogs since childhood.  My dogs were at times my best friend, my confidant and my jogging partner.  Our family has been blessed with the joy and unconditional love of our four-legged fur-babies.  In turn, we want to share this joy with others.

WHY A WHOODLE?

A Whoodle is a member of the ever growing family of "doodle" dogs.  The Whoodle is a cross-breed of a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and a Poodle.  Being a mixed breed they are not as predisposed to the various genetic disorders of a pure-bred dog.

Whoodles have a soft, non-shedding coat and as such are hypoallergenic.  This makes the Whoodle an ideal dog for those with allergies.

Whoodles are very playful and affectionate.  They love playing and because they have an inherit non-aggressive personality, they make a great family pet.  They are very lovable and enjoy attention and affection from their owners.

Whoodles are highly intelligent and trainable.  Given they are a cross-breed of a Poodle and a Wheaten Terrier, they tend to be very smart and easy to train.

Whoodles come both standard and miniature in size.  The standard Whoodle is usually between 35 and 50 pounds and 18-20 inches tall.  We only breed miniature Whoodles that are typically between 15-30 pounds and 10-14 inches tall.

Our dogs are our family pets.  We treat them as one of our kids and ensure they are given constant love and attention.  We raise our puppies in a loving home environment as we watch them grow and help them find their forever homes.

Our Whoodles bring our family so much joy that we wanted other families to also benefit from the "oodles" of joy in owing a Whoodle!

PRICING & PAYMENT

PRICING

DEPOSIT

You can pay your deposit with money order, cashiers check or using Venmo.  Once we receive your deposit it will determine your place on our reservation list.  For instance, first deposit gets first pick, second deposit gets second pick regardless of male or female preference. Deposits are refundable as our primary concern is you get the right puppy for your family and our puppy is going to the perfect home.

Prior to the puppies being born, we will put your name on the list for either a male or female or make a note that you have no preference.  After the puppies are born and we know how much of each gender we have, we ask that you choose either a male or female so that those who made deposits after yours will know exactly how many males versus females are available.

If you select a gender preference prior to the puppies being born and there are not enough of that gender available in the litter, then you can choose to have your deposit refunded or roll it over to a future litter.  If you choose to roll it over to a current litter, then you will be placed after the families currently on the list.

We understand that circumstances occur that change your plans in bringing a puppy home after you paid your deposit.   You can apply the reservation fee to a future litter within 18 months from the date that the fee was paid or choose to have your deposit refunded.  The reservation list will be in the order of the date of the original reservation fee.

FINAL PAYMENT

Final payment is required when you come to pick up your puppy.  Payment can be made in cash, money order, cashiers check or Venmo.   Your final payment is the balance owing less the $300 deposit.
